Ziti Pasta with Sausage


I am preparing for the fellowship night with our small/flock group and wanted to make something different. If you try this, let me know if you like the combination.

Yield: 10 servings or so

Ingredients:
1 box (16 oz.) Ziti Pasta, Cooked according to package instruction
1 can (16 oz.) Tomato sauce
16 oz. Pork sausage or ground pork
1 clove garlic, minced
1/4 of a big onion, minced small
Vegetable oil
salt and pepper to taste
1 tbsp. Italian seasoning

Procedure:
1. Heat a sauce pan and pour vegetable oil and saute' garlic and onion. Add the sausage. Continue stirring until it breaks into smaller pieces. Stir for about 5 minutes or until the pork sausage is cooked.
2. Pour the tomato sauce then season it with the dried Italian seasoning, salt and pepper to taste. Pour over the cooked pasta and stir it is all covered by the sauce.
3. Serve and enjoy!
