Pastillas de Leche

Pastillas de Leche (Spanish) or pill of milk are sweet milk candies. One of the Spanish influences in the Filipinos sweet tooth.

Ingredients:
8.5 oz sifted powdered milk (I used Carnation)
1 can (14 fl. oz.) condensed milk
1/2 cup granulated sugar

Procedure:
1. Pour the condensed milk into a bowl. Add about 1/3 cup powdered milk, mix it with the condensed milk. Continue adding the powdered milk until you get the consistency of dough. You should be about to roll it in your hand.
2. Scoop about 1 tsp and roll it into a ball or oval shape using your palm. We normally wrap it like a candy in a cellophane. In recipe I used mini cupcake cups since I don't have cellophane available.
3. Serve and enjoy!
