Stuffed Bell pepper and Baked Turkey Burgers




Individual serving for Ideal protein diet

Ingredients:
1 small bell pepper, cut 0.75 in. at the top and make 4 slits on the sides
1/2 cup bell pepper, chopped small
1/2 cup celery, chopped small
3 oz. ground turkey (plus 5 oz. more for the turkey burgers)
1/4 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. Mrs. Dash Original blend
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1 clove garlic, finely minced (optional)
Olive oil baking spray

Procedure:
1. Preheat oven to 365 degrees Fahrenheit.
2. In a bowl, season the ground turkey with Mrs. Dash seasoning mix onion powder and salt. Separate 5 oz. of it and make two mini-turkey burgers. Place it in a greased baking sheet.
3. Add the minced onion, chopped celery and chopped bell peppers to the remaining ground turkey and mix well until the ingredients are all incorporated. Place this mixture in the bell pepper cup. Spray it with the olive oil baking spray. Bake the stuffed pepper and mini-burgers for 30-35 minutes or when the meat is brown.
4. Transfer the stuffed pepper and burger to a serving platter. Serve and enjoy!
