Mini Turkey Burger Steak with Mushroom

Yields: 4 small servings

Ingredients:
1/2 lb. ground turkey
1 clove garlic, crashed and minced
1/4 shallot, or 1/8 med. sized white onion, sliced thinly, divided
1 tbsp. green onion/scallion, sliced diagonally
4 pcs. whole mushroom, sliced (or about 2 cups sliced mushroom)
1 tsp. corn starch completely dissolved in 1/4 cup of water
salt and pepper to taste

Procedure:
1. Heat the pan and add Olive oil or turn the grill on and grease with margarine or oil spray to start. Using a bowl, season ground turkey with salt and pepper to taste. Divide it into 4 and form it into small balls. Put them in the pan one by one and press them to make a small burger. (Or do the same thing with the grill if it doesn't have lid to press.) Set aside when done.
2. In a pan that you used previously, saute the garlic and half of the onion. Add the mushroom then stir. Pour in the corn starch diluted in water. Stir until the sauce thickens.
3. Add the turkey burgers, stir and simmer for 3 minutes. Add salt and pepper to taste.
4. Use the remaining onion and scallions (green onion) for garnish, serve and enjoy!

This is a Lannie Armstrong recipe. Feel free to share and use it for your home cooking.

Food for the Soul
Sing to the Lord, all the earth! Tell of his salvation from day to day.
Declare his glory among the nations, his marvelous works among all the peoples!
For great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised,
and he is to be feared above all gods.
For all the gods of the peoples are worthless idols, but the Lord made the heavens.
Splendor and majesty are before him; strength and joy are in his place.

1 Chronicles 16: 23-27, ESV
