Barbecue Chicken Wings

  • Barbecue Chicken Wings
Recipe yield: Servings for four or more
Ingredients: 2 lbs. (1 kg.) chicken wings 1 tsp. or more salt 1/2 tsp. or more ground black pepper 1 tbsp. Chicken Montreal Grill Mates seasoning 2 cups or more of cooking or vegetable oil 1 cup all-purpose flour 1 cup or more Barbecue sauce (I used Sweet Baby Rays)
Procedure: 1. Season the chicken with salt, pepper and Grill mate Montreal Chicken seasoning. Marinate it in the seasoning for about an hour in the refrigerator. 2. Using a ziplock bag, pour in the all-purpose flour. Add about 3 pinches (or more) of salt and 1 tsp. (or more) of ground black pepper. Put the chicken wings one by one and cover it with flour. Repeat until all the chicken are covered with flour. 3. Heat a deep frying pan and pour the cooking oil or vegetable oil. Heat the oil and deep-fry the floured chicken wings being careful not to over crowed the chicken in the frying pan. Repeat until all chicken are deep fried. Transfer the cooked one in a plate with paper towel to drain the excess oil. 4. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Use a disposable baking dish or lay a sheet of foil in a baking pan. Dip each fried chicken wings in a bowl of BBQ sauce or brush the BBQ sauce to each fried chicken wings until all is covered with the sauce. Place the baking pan in the oven and bake the chicken for 10-15 minutes. 5. Pull out the baked chicken and let cool for about 3 minutes or so. Serve hot and enjoy!

    Food for the Soul
Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful; and let us consider how to stimulate one another to love and good deeds, not forsaking our own assembling together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another; and all the more as you see the day drawing near.

    Hebrews 10:23-25, NASB
